A major moment in Los Angeles classical music is taking over Walt Disney Concert Hall this June.
The Los Angeles Philharmonic presents Gracias Gustavo: Celebrating 17 Years, marking Gustavo Dudamel’s 17-year run as Music & Artistic Director. The program runs June 5 through June 7, 2026, with performances across three nights.
The concert features a pairing of Harmonium by John Adams and Cantata Criolla by Antonio Estévez, a program that leans into poetry, rhythm and large-scale orchestral storytelling. It reflects Dudamel’s long connection to both Venezuelan musical roots and the LA soundscape he has shaped since 2009.
It also stands as part of his final season with the LA Phil, making this run at Disney Hall feel like a closing chapter for one of the most recognizable figures in modern orchestral music.
Performances take place at Walt Disney Concert Hall from June 5 to June 7, 2026.
